As the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fletcher Financial, John Scott works with insurance companies, investors, and new market entrants as they navigate pivotal business decisions. Clients engage John at key inflection points—entering the insurance market, pursuing growth through acquisition, repositioning legacy businesses, or addressing capital and balance sheet constraints.

With more than 35 years of experience, John has led over 500 completed transactions across the life, health, accident, and property & casualty sectors, including company and platform acquisitions, block and structured reinsurance transactions, and licensed shell company divestitures. His experience enables him to quickly identify viable transaction paths and anticipate execution challenges before they arise.

John brings deep working knowledge of how underwriting, product development, policy administration, distribution, actuarial, compliance, and finance intersect within insurance transactions. He serves as the central coordinator across these disciplines, aligning specialized legal, actuarial, administrative, and operating partners to ensure transactions are structured with precision and executed efficiently. Over the course of his career, John has been involved in some of the industry’s most complex and nuanced insurance transactions, often requiring bespoke structures and multi-party coordination.
